It's been quite long since i've blog, since anyone has in fact. :P well, i was @ minyie's place with Kaiwen and Lynn yesterday after superduperuber houseprac and PSL sessions! :D hahahaha, we posted but the post wasn't posted, -.- ohkayy i'm not really making sense. D: but well, i'll post our draft afterwards. ;)
PEOPLE, POST MOREEEE, OR ELSEEEE... :P ohkay i'm kidding, you know it, i understand that everyone's chionging projects now. AAAAA. D: but ohwell, don't worry the term is coming to an end and we'd have been in RGS of officially one term now! :D woohoo. Anyway, I'm posting some MCQ questions from the mock paper for FFA last year i got from the library. :D hoho, dedicating this to all who're dying and dont know how to revise for FFA or make yourself feel better about it, like VALERIE AND EILEEN. I love you two and i'm sorry i'm always so lag during chats.
Well for the SA coming up right (for FFA) the format wouldn't exactly be MCQ i think, i'm not sure but these questions, yall can like attempt them without open book and see how much you understand FFA ;) i don't have the answers, though, you could ask Ms Chen if you've got any doubts. ;)

1. Bring materials for D and T Lesson tomorrow 2. English Literature Homework (worksheet) 3. Research on Greektales + English Language Journal Writing (questions are found at the back of the worksheet) 4. Sign Math GA 5. Read up Geography Textbook page 24-25 and do Geography worksheet

By the way, for those who don't have the list and you need to find a book, you can always borrow from me. :D because i'm lazy to type out the books' names. And for the benefit of those who want the activities we can choose from, here it is:
- Write an alternative ending o a prologue to the story. Write about 200-250 words.
-a) comment on the ending of the book - do you think it had an apt ending? Explain your view. b) write an alternative ending for the story (200-250 words)
-Imagine you are a character in the story. Write a series of diary entries to record your feelings and impressions of either i) 3 crucial incidents in the novel or ii) another character in the story, referring to at least 3 other incidents (Do not exceed 500 words)
-Pick a character in the story you would like to have as a friend. Explain why you like him or her saying what qualities you most admire in the person. Refer to specific incidents in the book (write about 300 words).
-Write an acrostic poem on either i) a main character in the story or ii) the plot/theme. Aim to make it entertaining, at the same time giving an accurate report to a would-be reader.
-Write a headlined news report on a significant incident in the story. Capture elements in the incident that would excite the interest of readers in the society as represented in the novel.
-Compose a montage/collage/comic strip/ storyboard o represent the main themes in the book. Write a commentary to accompany your composition, explaining the choice of illustration (Do not exceed 250 words)
-On a collection of short stories, pick your favourite 2 stories from the collection and comment on why they appeal to you particularly. Refer to any two elements in the stories which you think were handled in masterly fashion.
-Write a dramatised script for a major incident in the novel. Choose a scene, which is either a turning point in the plot, or a scene, which is particularly moving or revealing of the character(s) involved. Include stage/film directions.
-Do you think an adult might enjoy this book? Write to an adult (a friend or a relative of yours) explaining why you think the book might be a good read to him/her.
-As the editor to a new edition o the book, you have to make a decision on which sections you wish to leave out. Give reasons for your choice. Comment on how these cuts would affect the reading/meaning of the story.
-You are interviewing the author of your chosen book for a BBC World Service programme (Good Books or Meridian). Make a list of questions (about 5) you would ask him/her about the book. Based on what you know about the writer, i.e. some research done on his/her background, what do you think he might reply? Write a transcript of the likely interview.
-On the occasion of the anniversary of the author's death, write a literary review of your chosen book for Life! Newspaper
-Write a set of three poems as a response to the themes of the book or the experience of character(s) in the book. You may write from any perspective you choose.

7:29 PM  Hellohh 109'10 :D I'm sorry I came home late today because I went for my first library duty(: the seniors and awesomeee and I like doing library duty although it's confusing and difficult, it gives me a sort of satisfaction and it's good to take my mind off our homework and everything sometimes. I got a library badge too! :P hahahaha, i'm going to wear it to school for the next few days and go crazy hahaha.
Anyway, Melody has posted our homeworkk already so I guess there's no need for repeats. (: but if you need the history powerpoint and haven't got it, here're the tables for the slides we need for note taking. :D if you still want them you can ask me to send it to you tomorrow in class. :D

Ow, ow. Okay, apparently it hurts when you try too hard to untie a knot and end up ripping part of your nail off its nailbed. Yes I know this sounds very gruesome and it's probably 10 times exaggerated but it hurts! :x I've also got a lot of blutack under my nails from playing with it too much. Ack! >< And I think teachers were giving me strange looks when I was playing with it. Does everyone have CCA today? Someone should post the hw! Without the daily poster, I am completely lost until the poster(aka Shermaine) comes home. I try to record the homework... but... but..!! I finally finished all my homeworkk and now I'm struggling with all our PWs. :P but thankyou Leirong, Lynn, Gigi and WenQi for talking to me todayy. (: feel much better with people to talk to whenever I'm doing stuff. :P anyway, i'm back here for a reason bwahaha.
Firstly, there's this competition my exschool teacher's daughter participated in and i'm helping her publicise and ask more people to vote for her in the competition. IT'S FREE AND FAST! :D so just be a kind soul and do a good deed. Hello 109!!!!!Haven't posted for quite long. I don't like bio PT. YUCK. My group is like super slow. Right now it seems like only me and Lei Rong are doing work. Unfair.Gahhhh. I haven't even chosen my ERP book. Most probably will be doing Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah. Cos I have the book. =) Does anyone know when ERP is due???i've decided not to use caps at the start of every sentence cos it's really tiring.
now bout judo! judo training on thursday almost killed me. no. yes. seriously. we did like dunno how many rounds of FROG JUMPS and some other kind of jump. yuck. i hate frog jumps. we did the other kind of jump first. than when the coach said it was the last round then every body was like yay! then aft every1 finished the first kind of jump the coach was like "frog jumps". then everybody was like hhhhhuhhhh.... but they still did in the end. the worst thing was that we juniors had to do it too! and we did it like before warming up. so aft tt my thighs hurt like crazy. n they're still hurting now. gahhh.
then aft warming up we (e juniors) went outside to train. wif 1 black belt senior. then we played this gamey thingy. but seriously. its not a game. its a judo thingy. we had to slide around. yes SLIDE. that's how we're supposed to move in judo. which means our feet cannot be off the ground at any point of time. then we had to go around cupping other people's necks. n if u get cupped, u have to do 3 yucky push ups. hey. tt's no joke okay. cos we get cupped like really often. n then aft doing 3 push ups we had to get up n go try cupping ppl's necks again. if u get cupped again then that's just too bad. we did this for like 15 min???
then we had to do something like that again. just that this time we had to hug that person from e back. then if u got hugged you'll have to do 3 push ups. just like the previous game. so horrible rite??? n the worst thing was tt we werent allowed to drink water. gahhhh.
then we had to do something like tt again. just tt we had to hug tt person n CARRY her. yeah. i think this time was a competition. once u got carried u wld go out. yeah. n no push ups! it was a last one standing game. i didnt carry anybody. i couldnt.
then another judo game. we had to move around with our knees bent (its a judo stance) and slap other people's thighs. 3 sit ups/push ups. we could chose. of course i chose sit ups. but we were doing on the hard floor so i decided i wld just cheat. as in not going down fully. if not super painful eh.
then we had a competition! it was based on the previous game. the slapping thigh one. we split up into 2 teams. it was a one to one competition. then the team that lost wld have to do 20 push ups. haha. my team won! yay! so we didn't do any push ups. =)
then we had to pair up. we were taught another technique. so we practiced with each other. my partner was anxing. the girl who was ranked 1st. haha. no.1 with no.15. so ironic. so we had to do the 1st technique 10 times then change over. the the other person 10 times then change over. it seems like this really small figure. but really. its quite tiring.
then we were taught the second technique! we had to do 5 times then change over. it is really quite tiring. we had to do 4 quite long. its super tiring . trust me.
then we rested! but we were not allowed to drink water. so horrible rite? n the break isn't like 5 min or anything its just sitting on the ground for a few seconds. then we were taught a 3rd technique. but not complete. so we practiced. n practiced n practiced.
then we had this really long whiteboard session with the coach. learning some judo stuff we'll be tested on. for like half an hr. yeah. but we learned lots of stuff i can't even remember.
then we took our weight and our gi size! yay! my gi size is 2.5. yay! i wanna get the gi soon =) and aft tt we shifted the mats back into the underground place. and then we were released! half an hr late AGAIN. sad rite?

Hi guys! I just finished making those foam roses for my dad, cos his birthday is coming up! You al must remember to appreciate your daddies because they're all the best dads in the world! :D Mmmm I haven't started on my homework yet. Just listening to "two is better than one". Anyone got any song suggestions'? I'm really bored because I have no song to listen to. Well you know my sis just left for uni right? I'm sure you know this because I was moaning about it for about a week to everyone i met! She left behind this whole wardrobe, and I realise how fat I am now because they all look teensy weensy! Let's play one word fable in class on monday! Sigh I kinda hate school.. But at least my class is completely awesome! Rules for one word fable: Every player takes turn to say one word to form a fable. Before the fable starts, two animals are chosen. Those will be the characters. There must be a problem, resolution and moral. E.g. (i really did this one with my grp b4): Once upon a time there lived a rhinoceros who like exploding chickens. However, the chicken was too fat to explode. So the rhinoceros ate some fish tht allowed him to explode the chicken. Moral: Always eat fish if you like exploding chicken. Hahah funny right? Bytheway, I watched "BLIND SIDE" yesterday with my familyy, it was great. :D till now, I think both "PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF" and "BLIND SIDE" are great but I'd prefer Percy Jackson's because it's more thrilling and eveything, and Blind Side is more of the family, life story sort of thingg. (: Anyway, both are great but if y'all would like to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, make it quick because tomorrow's the last dayy! D: as for Blind Side, I checked! now that i'm back in singapore i've to do my homework. NO!!!!!!!!! aiya.
