Hey 109'10. :D happyhappy, i'm going to watch KarateKid with my cousins woohoo. :b seriously, i'm like super happy because i'm thinking about kimbum and justinbieber and that's like the bestest thing in the world muchmuch. ;) hahaha i'm currently hooked on BOF and The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry because they're both so funny and romantic and the casts are all so goodlooking . :b kimbum x1000. loveeee.

Anyway, I was wondering what I should post on class blog today when I was reading Seventeen Magazine, July 2010 issue. YAY SEVENTEEN IS AWESOME. And I came across this page about ways to kiss -.- and I figured only weno and valerieeee will be interested so since everyone is saying you're fat even though you're much not these days, I'll share some stuff about struggling with your weight that I got from Seventeen. :D hahaha so if you like it you'll like Seventeen it's like the bestest existing teen mag. ;) go subscribe whaha. :D if I get bored, I'll photocopy some interesting pages when school reopens like in the next issue maybe and pin it up on class noticeboard okok? :D

Secret Reasons Why We Gain Weight:

SR1#: SLEEP DEPRIVATION
When you are busy juggling school, friends and tons of after-school activities, sleep is probably at the absolute bottom of your to-do list. But research shows that the less sleep you get, the more you increase your odds of being overweight. That's because when you're sleep-deprived, your body thinks you're hungry even when you aren't and it craves for sugary food that gives you a quick energy hit. :D

- TEENS WHO GET SIX TO SEVEN HOURS OF SLEEP A NIGHT (like us) ARE TWICE AS LIKELY TO BE OBESE! (ohno!)
- SO, SWITCH TO DECAF DRINKS AFTER 4PM.
- EXERCISE, even a little activity like dancing around your room for 10 minutes after school can help you fall asleep faster and easier.
- POWER DOWN, when you decide you're ready for bed, shut off the distractions that might keep you up, like your phone and your computer.
- DON'T OVEREAT WHEN YOU ARE SAD (like me D: )

SR2#: SKIPPING BREAKFAST
Bypassing breakfast seems like an easy way to cut calories, especially if you aren't starving in the morning. But eating first thing gets your metabolism going and studies actually show that girls who have breakfast eat healthier overall. It's probably because they rarely get so hungry that they binge or crave junk food.

- TAKE FIVE MINUTES, MAKE IT A MISSION TO START THE MORNING WITH A QUICK MEAL THAT COMBINES PROTEIN WITH A HEALTHY CARB

SR3#: GIANT PORTION SIZES
You may not realise it, but the way food is packaged and served these days, it's really easy to overeat. A 500ml bottle of soda from the vending machine is actually two-amd-a-half servings! and many restaurant entrees give you enough food for two meals. And when it looks and smells so good you want to EAT IT ALL. ):

- ALWAYS CHECK THE SERVING SIZE ON THE LABEL OF ANY PACKAGED SNACK OR FOOD
- EAT SLOWLY AT RESTAURANTS, it will allow you to be satisfied much more with much lesser (whaha. :b we should try it someday.)

SR4#: EATING WHILE DISTRACTED
We've all been there: You're talking to your friends on Facebook while watching some korean drama or premiere movie on Channel 5 and pretty soon, your hand is at the bottom of a bag of chips, How does this happen? Well, it's almost impossible for your brain to hear your stomach saying, "Stop! I'm full!", when a million of other things are keeping your brain busy.

-AVOID BOTTOMLESS BAGS OF BOXES, if you want a snack in front of the TV, put a handful in a bowl, or grab a pre-portioned snack like a granola bar or a piece of fruit.
- TAKE 10MINUTE TIMEOUT FOR YOUR MEALS, chew slowly and actually enjoy your meal as mentioned above - you'll feel a lot more satisfied on less food! ;)

SR5#: LIQUID CALORIES
Sodas, juices, creamy coffee drinks, bottled iced teas- you think of them as just drinks, but many have enough calories for a snack, or even a meal! Plus, because they're loaded with sugar, they can spike your hunger and may make you eat more all day!

-SWITCH TO WATER, it's crazy but if you just cut one soda or sugary drink a day, it can make a 5kg difference in a year! So buy yourself a cute water bottle to keep in your backpack and think of those other drinks as a once-in-a-while treat. (:
